Some of the most charming tree-lined blocks in Center City Philadelphia are found in the Art Museum & Fairmount area, which is just north of Spring Garden Street and west of Broad Street and reaches to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and beyond.
This area also encompasses an area often referred to as Fairmount, which stretches from Broad Street to about 18th Street and from Spring Garden Street to Fairmount Avenue. The area provides that typical Philadelphia “neighborhood feel,” which includes
blocks of new and old row homes, surrounded by local schools, churches, restaurants and boutiques. It is located just blocks away from Boat House Row and Fairmount Park, which includes nearly 10 acres of space with miles of biking/running trails,
creeks, and recreation making it the largest urban landscaped park in the country. Living in this area, you are close to public transportation, museums, and all the culture the city has to offer.
